Growing up with big city dreams…

South Florida native Paige Marinelli always knew she would find a place in the fashion industry. Her interest in fashion was sparked by childhood visits to fabric stores and classic movie marathons. After high school Paige fulfilled her desire to attend fashion school and join the industry in NYC: enrolling in FIT, earning her BA in fashion merchandising and gaining experience in various parts of the industry; wardrobe styling, fashion e-commerce, luxury design, men’s fashion, and merchandising for Macy’s.

Over the years, Paige has developed an eclectic wardrobe influenced by timeless fashion throughout the ages, built up by cherished thrift store treasures. Her fascination with fashion magazines, however, began in middle school as she became lost in the fantasy of the pages while dreaming of one day joining their world. While studying international merchandising at Polimoda in Florence, Paige hit upon the core of her mission: a desire to contribute meaningfully to this beautiful worldwide community.

Paige currently resides in Los angeles working as a wardrobe stylist. Her images breathe life to the stories and characters she dreams up in her mind. Paige lives by a “time machine feel,” a mindset that incorporates idealism, softness with structure, romanticism, and nostalgia in order to express dreams and desires through fashion of years past. Her photos create space for self-expression, showcasing the message that following ones personal style can mean clothing oneself in art.

Interested in expanding the global understanding of fashion and its societal impact, Paige works against the standard grain of the fashion industry as an advocate for body inclusivity, diversity, ethical practice, and sustainable fashion. She truly believes that fashion can fuel social movement and affect worldwide change; in an age when people generally feel more comfortable letting the world tell them who to be, Paige’s dream is to encourage personal authenticity that shines from the inside out. For her, fashion is more than a choice… it’s a lifestyle supplement, an expression of freedom, a voice in the white noise, and a message to the world.
